If your Self Image is very low, it’s a sure sign that you have a lot of fear about yourself. Some fear and more importantly, mental and emotional anxiety about things that should not concern you. However, this type of insecurity can also lead to depression, loneliness, a feeling of uselessness, and a feeling of worthlessness.
Your True Self-Image
It may seem like your Self Image is normal and no a big deal, but in reality, it’s much deeper than that. After years of taking this one step at a time, you can become a wreck by the time you get to the big “I am”. So, how do you move forward when you feel insecure about your Self-Image?
First, you must understand that your Self is not your physical body. This means that we are not “two-in-one”. This means that our Body and Mind are distinct from each other. So, if your Body and Mind are telling you that you’re worthless, then your mind is right behind you.
Second, take responsibility for your Self-Image. You have to ask yourself; “Am I living a healthy life?” And the answer is: “No!”
Third, work on changing the things that are “feeling” like they’re in your favor. Be mindful of what your beliefs are. What do you believe about yourself? Are you spending all your time worrying about something that should not even be on your radar?
Importance Of Physical Activities
Fourth, start taking care of your body by getting out more and participating in more physical activities. Physical activities not only help strengthen your mind and body but can also help boost your self-esteem. Your Body is as good as your brain, so it makes sense that the brain would benefit from exercise. Additionally, you’ll be helping your mind by being more active.
Fifth, find someone who shares your values and your Self and with whom you can connect and support. This could be a friend, or it could be your family. They should be an extension of your Mind and Body.
Sixth, start to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Make your body take part in physical activities. Do the things that you like. Having fun takes your mind off of the troubles that you may be facing at the moment.
Pay Attention To Your Body And Self
Seventh, you should start to pay attention to your body and your Self. Start to take care of yourself. Physical health and mental health are your way of letting others know that you are worthwhile.
Eighth, keep taking care of yourself. In the end, you will feel better about yourself and the world around you will be less stressful for you.
As I said before, this is only a beginning! Make it more comprehensive with some practice! For now, it’s just a guide, but one that has helped thousands of people.
Last, keep your eyes, ears, and heart open to the things that may affect your self-esteem, including physical activity, relationships, and other areas of your life. Don’t let a situation that you did not experience when you were younger, make you feel ashamed of who you are. Life can be good and if you really want it to be good, you can be better.
